Abi has a passion for working with mental wellbeing, supporting people signed off work with stress or struggling to manage their mental fitness in challenging workplace environments. She has been developing and delivering wellbeing coaching work embedded in primary care settings alongside her private practice. Her clinical NHS background has been invaluable in integrating evidence based preventative mental healthcare into GP settings. Her particular interests lie in the area of using applied neuroscience to improve our stress resilience and master anxiety, and using creative tools and outdoor intelligence to facilitate clients to engage in their best thinking.
She has an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching, and additional certificates in solution focused practice, anxiety management, integrative counselling skills and NLP, giving her a rich tool box of psychological interventions with which to tailor a block of coaching to the individual's unique needs. She is a member of the BPS Special Coaching Group and UKASFP.
Abi has been called 'contagiously calm' and 'utterly reliable, methodical and professional'; clients typically leave a block of sessions feeling as though they have the tools they need to manage anxiety effectively, the ability to stop and breathe, and a renewed sense of confidence and self compassion.
