Tia is a qualified Coaching Psychologist with a Master of Science in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology. As a committee member of the Special Group in Coaching Psychology in the British Psychological Society, and a member of the International Society for Coaching Psychology; Tia is closely involved in supporting and developing professional and ethical coaching practice in the field.
Her own coaching approach is heavily informed by the science of positive psychology and evidence based coaching models that ensure a balance between achieving meaningful performance goals and wellbeing. She strongly believes in the power of psychological interventions such as coaching to support people in reaching their potential and enhancing their wellbeing in both work and life.
Tia's clients often describe her as warm, compassionate and easy to open up to. Tia’s philosophy is to put the client’s core needs such as autonomy, mastery and relationships at the centre of the coaching discussion and she often incorporates creative coaching techniques in order to get to the heart of matters and reveal what lies in the subconscious. This facilitates those ever important “a-ha” moments that help to engage and move the client forward.
